I take in the gorgeous view from The Seattle Great Wheel, a popular tourist attraction located on Pier 57 that stands 175 feet tall. It was intimidating to get on this tall attraction, but I really enjoyed spinning around and watching as the ocean sparkled beneath.

She had been teaching in the Media Center while her classroom was quarantined. “This day that I had a flea taped to me though I will tell you I bawled. I was crying. A student on campus shows a meme involving the Sean “Diddy” Combs case that references the mass amount of baby oil bottles discovered in the raids on Diddy’s properties on Mar. 23. Access to such memes can be easily found and distributed throughout social media platforms like TikTok and Instagram. The Internet serves as a host for harmful jokes because it is an open platform with little to no regulation. “Instagram reels has no filter; you can scroll through the comments and find someone saying the n-word with the hard ‘r’,” said senior Nam Pham.

District fixed ASB clerk Rebecca Power’s office window on Feb. 9 after four days of it being boarded with wood. The exact details of the theft including the items taken are confidential as the West Covina police department continues to investigate. Principal Charles Park shared that perpetrators of the crime are subjected to both repercussions from the school and the criminal justice system. “Theft can range on a pendulum from suspension to expulsion… A situation like this once we solve and figure out who is responsible school consequences will apply. If not then police consequences will apply equally,” said Park.

Monica Flores tumbles to the floor as she and the rest of the players scramble to get the ball and evade the others. “You kinda just have to get used to getting pushed around and not let it affect you or your game,” said Flores. The match had repeated incidents where players would get rowdy and one would fall, each time their respective team helped them up and the match continued.
