The graduated class of 2023

After 13 years of education, Class of 2023’s graduation ceremony was held yesterday at Thyberg Field marking the end of a chapter for all of the now alumni of approximately 500 students. As noted repeatedly throughout the ceremony, the class underwent multiple challenges beginning their freshman year with the coronavirus pandemic, forcing them into remote learning and the struggle of transitioning back into in person learning. As indicated by Superintendent Emy Flores’ speech, perseverance in defiance of adversity is a skill the Class of 2023 excels in and she encouraged them to always remain fiery and ambitious. Congratulations 2023, Bulldog alumni.
As tradition goes, the graduating class of 2023 moves tassels from right to left as a symbol of crossing over from high school to college.
