Editor’s Note

To me, school journalism is about giving a voice to our community and representing those within it and reporting for them. Insight is dedicated to focusing on what matters most to our community, whether it be through students, community events, or community issues, we will cover it with a purpose.

As someone who hopes to become a lawyer, I’ve learned that justice comes with honesty, transparency and fairness; that’s exactly what Insight will stand for. Our mission is to bring those same values into our coverage and to create a publication that reflects who we are as a community.

Without our community, we would not have stories to tell, so to our audience, thank you for trusting Insight as your community’s publication. Your experiences inspire the stories we write, and your feedback is heavily appreciated to keep us accountable for our work. I invite you all to engage with us and let Insight know what matters most to you. After all, our publication is built up of voices like yours.
