Freshmen Football played against Diamond Ranch on Thurs, Oct. 19 but fell short with a score of 9-0. The Bulldogs had a strong start in league winning their first two games but now have a record of 2-1.

Cross country: Alexander Escalante Alexander Escalante is a four year cross-country athlete and current varsity runner and team captain. Cross country is one of the only sports that has a team that trains year round, causing many to shy away. For him, cross country isn't just a sport, it's a test of strength, discipline and heart, and has taught him that although the sport is painful, he can work through its difficulties. "Some things I like to look back on are honestly all the races I've had throughout the years and how I've come to grow from them, learn from them. They're really great experiences," said Escalante.

A first for flag football, a look into the new team’s progression
One of the many gameplay differences that makes girls flag football more distinct from traditional football is the lack of the use of field goals. Due to the high emphasis on passing and running plays, field goals are removed from flag football. CIF rule book rules that a team may only score touchdowns, points after touchdowns, and safeties.
