Prom court gives seniors the opportunity to fulfill the ideal high school experience, allowing candidates to promote what they've accomplished throughout high school. Seniors Anicia Toscano, Katie Castillo, Maui Tagle, Ashley Carmouche, Analisa Soriano, Daniel Carrillo, Dominic Sanchez, Matthew Vasquez, Daniel Zelaya, and Nathan White are the 2024 prom court candidates. Online voting will open this Friday and will be open to all grades to vote for one of each gender. Prom Queen and King will be announced at prom on Saturday.

Insecurities can prevent people from seeking out their ambitions. “Exploring the impacts on student’s success” explores how those struggling with insecurity can overcome their struggle and become successful while feeling accomplished. “I think insecurities affect students by letting them feel alone and thinking they struggle alone, and those insecurities become their own doubts and their own obstacles and they become their biggest critic,” said Wellness Advisor Jennifer Sun.

A weight set can be used for many different workouts. This weight set is one of the machines that is available to everyone at the gym. The school provides a free on campus weight room with multiple benches and other workout materials. For those looking for a more separate location, popular local gyms such as Planet Fitness have summer programs for teens interested in a gym environment. Both gyms are completely accessible and made to provide a safe community for self-dedicated people. “I started going to the gym when they put out the free membership for Planet Fitness,” said Gayosso.
