Senior Josh Herrera is one of the greatest football players on the varsity team and represented the Bulldogs in the Hall of Fame game.
What made Herrera like football so much was the excitement he got from the sport. It makes him feel like he’s a part of a team with a band of brothers.
Herrera’s highlight of the year was representing WCHS in the Hall of Fame game. and being named all-league defensive MVP.
Herrera credits his father as his inspiration to play.
“My dad has really inspired me to play football because of his motivation and constant pushing me to get better and better when I was younger,” said Herrera.
Herrera is excited to graduate and go on to college this coming fall.
“I will really miss the interaction with all of my friends and the atmosphere of being around people who understand me when I leave Bulldog Country,” said Herrera.
Although Herrera does not plan on making a career out of football, he is excited to begin a new journey with a new team in college.
