Senior girls varsity basketball player, Adriana Ramirez has been outstanding this month. She has scored at least 10 points each game.
She has been playing basketball since the seventh grade with her dad as her motivation. If there’s anything that she needs to work on, she does it at home and she makes sure that she practices on and off the court.
She plans on going to a four-year college and looks forward to playing for the school. She plans on going pro but would like to for a foreign country.
Straight after high school, she wants to go to the United World Games in Germany for a few weeks to play basketball.
She was very surprised and thankful that she was noticed and recommended by her team to be player of the month.
“I love basketball because it’s a team thing. Everyone is a family,” said Ramirez.
