Are you still looking for something to wear to Homecoming? Here are a couple of tips for the guys: Wear a collared shirt with a tie or a bow. Wearing a vest is highly recommended and with jeans or possibly slacks. Gel your hair and look semi-formal.
Step 1: Grab both ends of the tie. Make sure the wider end of the tie is longer than the thinner end.
Step 2: Make sure the longer end goes on top of the shorter end of the tie.
Step 3: The longest end of the tie then goes under and is placed on top of the shortest end of the tie. The longer end should go around the shorter end only once.
Step 4: Then the longest end of the tie has to go through the V shape that is formed by your neck and the tie. It should be wide enough for the longer end to go through. Don’t be confused. The V shape is forming from your neck to the tie.
Step 5: The longest end of the tie then goes through the hole that should be made with your left hand. Put the longest end of the tie through the hole and pull the shorter end of the tie. This will form the shape of the tie.
Step 6: This is the final step. Pull the shortest end of the tie down while holding the tie so it will go up to your neck. For a little extra help, you can have someone fix and adjust the tie to your comfort, and once that’s completed, you have just finished tying your own tie.
