This summer, many newly released songs have been on just about anybody’s radio. A familiar and hit song of 2019’s summer included “Sucker” by the Jonas Brothers. Released on March 1st, the song was the group’s first single together following 6 years of their absence. While it was too long of a hiatus, fans have forgiven the trio since. The revival of the Jonas Brothers was an amazing segway to their album, Happiness Begins, a title to which more than likely all fans can relate to! The song was highly anticipated, as the brothers posted a teaser for their single for excited supporters who were beloved fans of their fame in the 2000’s. Thrilling all, the song didn’t fail to disappoint those who waited and wished for their comeback. Furthermore, the group’s transition from a pop punk to a centrally pop genre stunned all, and yet they still remain in the Top 100 Hits as of September.  The upbeat tone of the song itself is enough to make anybody groove. It’s perfect for a day on the beach, or road trip, explaining the reason it remains high on the charts months after the release. In spirit of good timing, “Sucker” summed up any good summer memories, and will always prevail as an iconic song for the trio.
