On Garvey Avenue near the Westfield mall, a new Porto’s Bakery and Cafe store will open its doors. Replacing the Crazy Horse Bikini Bar and Grill, the new store will be set to open in the early fall of 2018.
Porto’s has locations in Burbank, Glendale, Downey, and Buena Park, but now students will not have to go as far for some cakes, baked goods, or just a cup of coffee.
The company expects the demolition and cleanup to be finished by this Friday, then they will begin building the store.
According to the San Gabriel Valley Tribune, the store will have a coffee bar for customers to order individual pastries and drinks along with an outdoor patio. The location will be open from around 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. seven days a week.
