It is that time of year again where prom comes around the corner of your eye and you make all of your preparations for prom, except for after prom. You’ve got everything ready for the night of your life, the dress, the suit, the corsage, the 100 plus dollar tickets, but plans for the after party have yet to be made. The dance is over, the party is over, and everybody is leaving to do whatever they all have planned after prom is over, except for you. Fortunately this article will give you some ideas on what to do after prom is now over for the next approximately 24 hours.
Once the night is over and everyone starts to leave, thoughts start entering your mind on just what to do afterwards and then you hear a low growl coming from your stomach. A thought comes to mind, “man I’m hungry, what should I eat”, then someone mentions their hungry and bingo, you have something to do after prom. Dancing does make people hungry, so head out to a place to eat after prom is over, and those really fancy clothes you bought just for prom, after all who wouldn’t want to eat fast food or luxury cuisine in such amazing clothing? There are multiple restaurants and diners that you can all head to once prom is over such as the Nickel Diner, or if you have a lot of walking around money, you can go eat at Le Petit Paris or Cicada. Maybe you don’t want to wander around unfamiliar territory when going to eat, there are always the classic Carl’s Jr places and Panda Express nearby.
If somehow nobody’s hungry after dancing the night away and partying at prom, head over to a local cinema or theater and watch whatever it is you youngins watch now these days. If there is a drive-in theater nearby you can go to, a theater where it is outdoors and you watch in your car near a speaker, that would even be better. You would all still get the experience eating the messiest food every while wearing fancy prom clothing. The local cinemas such as the Palace Theater, Downtown Independent and Regal Cinemas are nearby should you and your friends want to go watch a movie once the night is over. The theaters are not too far from the ballrooms, so it would be a great place to end the night.
Should you rather not do any of these plans once prom is over, you could always go or host a prom after-party once you get back to your place. The party doesn’t have to end at prom and it can keep on going for the rest of the night if you and your friends really want to. After all this the night of your high school life, you should just enjoy it however you can. The party doesn’t even have to be an actual house party, it could just be a group hangout at someone’s place and you could all just enjoy some pizza from Pizza Hut, Dominoes or a Little Caesars nearby. If you need a place to hangout with everybody once prom is over, just head on over to the Santa Monica beach that is nearby. Sit by a small campfire whilst you and your friends reminisce of the absolutely wonderful night you all just had.
If you already had plans to go somewhere and do things, then just keep this list in mind just in case plans get cancelled for some reason. After all people are bound to get tired after a full night of dancing and partying, so you may as well just get a full night’s worth of sleep after prom is over. Just remember bulldogs that this is the night of your life, so make the most of it and remember to be safe once the night is over agents.
