Everyone wants extra cash to spend, It comes to that point in time where no one wants to continuously ask their parents for money, especially for a lot. With summer approaching, students will have more time to apply for jobs. There are many job opportunities that the students can be hired for.
Most jobs require teens to either be 16 or 17 years old, depending on what type of job it is. Some places would like to see a resume. Always be prepared for an interview because there will most likely be one. Some tips are to be one time, dress appropriate, make sure your phone is off and be nice.

Many students can start looking for new job opportunities in the mall. The mall has ton of different stores from fast food to retail. However, if you don’t want to work in the mall, there’s other places in West Covina. An easier way to look for jobs is online. A good website is snagajob.com. It offers you a variety of places and tells you what kind of positions are open.
Some Places in West Covina:
Baskin-Robbins
Auntie Anne’s
McDonald’s
Chipotle Mexican Grill
Carl’s Jr.
Walmart
Zumiez
Pacsun
Tilly’s
Jack in The Box
Pizza Hut
The jobs that are listed usually have similar tasks which are to be a cook, cashier, or clean up after the customers.
When applying for a job, make sure you are ready for an interview and a background check. Many times before a place hires you, they will check your social media because teens tend to post inappropriate images. Good luck!

This is a really good opportunity for students to make money during the summer. Might not be the best job, but to make some extra money go ahead and go for it.
