Bulldog Basketball Falls Short of Victory

Varsity boys basketball fought hard at yesterday’s game against the Chino Cowboys. The final score was 83-66; Bulldogs came up short.

Boys and girls basketball seniors on picture day. Senior Adrian Vasquez, a four year basketball athlete, advised that diligence in sport pays off and helped lead his team to success during the postseason. “Don't worry, eventually all the hard work will pay off and there is always something to look forward to at the end of the road,” said Vasquez.

Junior Julia Renteria throws and does tricks with the flags to go with the music of the marching band. She makes sure to focus, have fun, and be in the moment while performing.

Monica Flores tumbles to the floor as she and the rest of the players scramble to get the ball and evade the others. “You kinda just have to get used to getting pushed around and not let it affect you or your game,” said Flores. The match had repeated incidents where players would get rowdy and one would fall, each time their respective team helped them up and the match continued.
