‘Tis the season to be jolly! Christmas time is rolling around, so that means it’s time to get into the spirit. People look forward to many different things when it comes to Christmas, whether it be spending time with their families, gifts underneath the Christmas tree, and even decorating their houses for the season. All those are definitely a part of the Christmas season but so are Christmas drinks.
Starbucks is known for their different types of festive drinks. A few of the drinks that are making their annual comeback include the Peppermint Hot Chocolate, the Eggnog Frappuccino, and the Apple Crumble Latte.
If those don’t sound appetizing to you, then that’s no problem. There are still many more winter themed drinks on the menu. I had the chance to taste two different drinks. The first was the Gingerbread Latte. The drink consisted of a nice gingerbread consistency. The warm taste was a nice change of temperature due to the freezing weather.
For my second choice, I decided on the Peppermint Mocha. It was amazing. The mixtures of peppermint and coffee went surprisingly well together. The two don’t seem very appetizing together, but they are. It’s definitely something different.
“This drink is one of our most popular. Many people like it because it is something they may not have experienced before,” a Starbucks barista said.
If you can’t get enough of the drink or if the drink is a little too much for you, they vary in sizes. You can purchase the Gingerbread Latte for $3.95 as a tall, $4.65 as a grande, or $4.95 for a venti. As for the Peppermint Mocha, it’s $4.45 for a tall, $4.95 for a grande, and $5.45 for a venti.
I recommend going into your nearby Starbucks and tasting one of their winter drinks for yourself.
