On April 25, WCHS juniors and seniors gathered at the Belasco Theatre for Prom 2015: A Tale as Old as Time.

At 7 p.m. the doors opened and students rushed in to explore the grand venue. The ceilings were high and had intricate patterns that made it feel like a fancy castle. Attendees had the option of staying downstairs or going upstairs to levels of seats overlooking the dance floor. A long buffet table was set up at the top. It had mashed potatoes, salad, mixed vegetables, pasta, chicken, and beef. There also was a bar with drinks for attendees to ask for.

After people enjoyed dinner with their friends or date, the dance floor began to fill. The DJ mixed songs as well as had screens displaying music videos for people to watch while dancing, but they had their eyes on something else.

Dancing on strings of cloth from the high ceiling were two skilled aerialists twisting and spinning as the people marveled their ability. The night continued with endless dancing, then came the moment every Bulldog had been waiting for, the crowning of the 2015 Prom Queen and King.

First, the princes were announced and brought to the stage, then the princesses. Then, Reggie Rodriguez was announced prom king and Jessica Valdez was announced prom queen. The night of dancing continued till 10:30, when everyone was led out of the building fresh with the memories they had made that night.
