With Apple almost up to 1 million apps in their app store, Snapchat has recently led its way to the top of the charts. Snapchat is a new addition to the app family, and has been making its way on every iPhone and A
ndroid. The app is a simple way to share pictures with a friend for a quick glance. The Snapchat team has made the app easier for a way to chat through a picture and now with the new updated version, videos as well. The app is also very simple and self-explanatory once downloaded.
What I love most about this app is how you can use it anywhere and take a quick picture or video on what you’re currently doing. It makes it much simple and quicker to do so then texting a picture because of how instantly Snapchat sends it. With Snapchat, there is a minimum of 10 seconds to view the picture that you received and it will instantly disappear. Some people might hate that they will never see that picture again and some like that.
What has been very popular on my Snapchat feed is receiving and sending out ridiculous pictures of yourself or others for a good laugh, knowing that they will never see the picture again. What I found smart about this app is that many iPhones can take a snap shot by holding the home and lock button to take a picture and Snapchat makes it difficult to do so. Your finger must stay in contact with the screen while viewing, which makes taking a screenshot even more difficult. Many of my friends have gotten lucky to take a quick snap shot but the app notifies me that they did so, making things more safe for situations.
Be sure to check out this new free app that might just be a start to an addiction. Let the Snapchat war began.
