Bulldog campus welcomes new Assistant Principal Joaquin Martinez. At a glance, Martinez is awestruck by the atmosphere of our campus.
“I’m very impressed with everyone here on campus, especially the students,” said Martinez.
Martinez is excited to learn about WCHS’s time-honored traditions and rituals–all that makes the campus unique.
Previously, Martinez taught Environmental Science, Earth Science, and Life Science at Workman High School. Martinez continues to strive to be the best as his job because he is inspired to create a positive impact on students. The opportunity to impact a large population to achieve their aspirations is something Martinez takes much pride in.
Always one to stay eager, Martinez looks forward to what the upcoming year will bring. “Halloween is my favorite day. My son was born on Halloween!” Martinez also has a reputation for having a specific appreciation for pirate jokes!
One aspiration Martinez holds close is too get to reach 800 API (Academic Performance Level) this year. He also would like to encourage students to think more about the environment by cleaning up trash around typical hangout spots at lunch.
