With thousands of apps available at the Apple store, one in particular that caught my eye was called Song Pop. My friend was tweeting all night about how much she loved this game called “Song Pop” so I decided to download it on my iPhone. In an instant, I was obsessed with it. The app has hit worldwide being on top of the charts and only launched May of this year.

The app is compatible on any iPhone, iTouch, iPad and also Android. Song Pop is a pop quiz app that is similar to the app Draw Something where you are playing with someone that you know on Facebook or you have the option to play with a random player. In the game, it will give you roughly around 13 seconds of a clip of the song from different genres for you to decide if you know the artist or song from the five different options. The faster you guess, the more likely your score will go up.

What I really love about this app is the possibility to discover new artists and explore new genres. At the end of the round, a list of the songs name and the artists giving you the chance to see the right answers. The app is connected with the iTunes store, allowing you to purchase the song if you wanted to. I recommend this app, it is very addicting and funny to play when on the road but can get boring at times when songs get repetitive. Download the free app at the app store and see if you find it as addicting as much as I do.
