Suicide is a sensitive topic and a issue that goes on in the world. The death rate shows why this problem deserves to have its own month because of how important a subject like suicide is. The most affected people are middle-aged adults and the youth. It is meant to honor those who have lost their lives to suicide and is there to emphasize to people that it can be prevented.
