As seniors enter their final semester of high school, the anticipation of preparing for graduation on June 5, along with college, jobs and adulthood grows. This often provokes bittersweet feelings for them and some shared their reflections on what high school life was like for them while holding pictures of their childhood selves.
Sophie Miranda will miss her time with her friends and teachers and the events at school that created many memories for her. “My friend Lucia broke her leg freshman year and it was such a struggle for her, but we helped her. It was one of the craziest moments,” said Miranda. Miranda hopes to not be as stressed, overthink as much, and to have a clear mindset going into the last few months of her senior year. “Always keep moving forward, I just like to tell myself, just to bring myself back up, like no need to be dramatic, but you’re gonna be okay,” said Miranda.
