To celebrate the opening of the new culinary arts room and showcase student skills, the advanced culinary class hosted a Mardi Gras tea party yesterday. The event took place 4th period and was open to staff only in the culinary arts room. Culinary students baked and made 100 of each item which took two days of prepping and assembling for about six hours each day. The tea party offerings included savory tea sandwiches to beignets and sweet-themed treats paired with a cup of tea. Culinary students were able to take these treats home after the event ended.
