Society of Music has been progressively moving towards popularity on campus. With more performances and accomplishments, the club has a successful future. Senior and club president Raymond Gonzales has been in the club since his freshman year and has been witness to its flourishing activity since then.
Learning music is not as easy as it seems. Society of Music has proved that with persistence and hard work, amazing things can happen.
“This year, we were able to get a full set list compared to past years. We now have nine full songs,” Gonzales said.
It is no doubt that this club thrives off of the passion of its members for music, whether it is playing or listening to it.
“It’s been fun. I was able to collaborate with people who love music as much as I do,” Gonzales said.
Promotion and planning ahead is important for any club. It is also essential to have a vision of what direction you want the club to go.
“I’m graduating this year, but I do plan to come back and I hope the club over time gets even better,” Gonzales said.
