Mark Salling, best known for his role as Noah “Puck” Puckerman on Fox’s musical comedy-drama “Glee,” had committed suicide, just weeks after pleading guilty to possession of child pornography.

“Mark was a gentle and loving person, a person of great creativity, who was doing his best to atone for some serious mistakes and errors of judgment,” attorney Michael Proctor said in a statement to CNN.
Los Angeles Police were called to investigate a report of an unknown death in a wooded area near Tujunga at 8:50 a.m. on Tuesday morning. Salling’s breakout came as a football player and a singer in the Fox hit musical comedy series, “Glee.” His plea agreement, which Saling struck with prosecutors in October, carried a four to seven year sentence. He would also have been required to pay a restitution and register as a sex offender.
In Dec 2015, Salling was first arrested for possessing child pornography after his residence was searched by the Los Angeles Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force. He was dropped from the film “Gods and Secrets” after his child porn indictment.
Fans had a lot to say about the post, especially the angel emojis, and seeming to equate the two stars. However, for every fan upset about a post, there were fans defending Sallings and honoring his co-stars in their own way. He was a good actor, but just because he is someone famous doesn’t mean he shouldn’t get punished for what he did. He was basically abusing of people’s privacy by having that type of media. I do consider him a pedophile because his type of content mainly were young teenagers.
