If you go into the ASB room or see a girl studying her books intently at the lockers, you’ll find sophomore and Class Council of 2020 Vice President Summer Salama.
“I joined class council to be involved and bond with new people to make my high school experience memorable,” Salama said. “They’re like a second family. There’s so much positive energy that I love being around.”
She takes her responsibility of being Vice President very seriously and enjoys it a lot. In addition to being Vice President for Class of 2020, Salama is also a part of ASB.
“Being in ASB is something you can’t even imagine. There’s always people supporting you, there’s so much love that goes around, and you get to bond with so many amazing people,” Salama said.
She also has many aspirations in life, one being going to college.
“I’m planning on attending a four-year university and going to an Ivy League school,” Salama said. “I want to be a lawyer so I can do what is right.” Both of these dreams seem big, but her biggest dream is to become president one day.
“Ever since I was a child, I’ve wanted to be the President of the United States. I want to make a big impact in the world to benefit others. I have a passion for leading and helping others. It shows that there are good people in the world,” Salama said.
Summer is currently working hard in school to achieve those goals and is excited to see what later years will bring.
