WCHS Choral Department held their annual Fall Concert at Bethany Church presenting performances by Women’s Chamber, Men’s Choir, Duly Noted, Concert Choir, and Wescovaires on Oct. 6.
This was the Choral Department’s first concert of the 2017-2018 school year. The performance was such a success in that it got a bunch of recognition from their audience.
“I love how all of the choirs performed. I saw so much potential from all of them and I’m so amazed on how good they made all the songs sound,” parent Abner Romero said.
One of the more anticipated groups to perform was the musical Hairspray. The cast and crew worked hard and put so much effort towards the upcoming event and it truly paid off.
“I feel like we did so good. When our performance started, I just felt in the moment. We all started having a great time and I think we did so great as a group,” junior Shelly Rana said.
In the end, the Choral Department put on a very impressive show. Women’s Chamber sang Lineage, a remarkable technical feat, but it also led to an astonishing sound and style. Make sure to check out their next performances at Coffee House on Friday, Oct 27.
