This week has been a huge week in the gaming world because of the release of Battlefield 1. The Battlefield series is a very popular gaming series. It is under the FPS genre and has grown to become one of the biggest gaming series of all time, and Battlefield 1 has the potential to become one of the greatest games of all time.  Battlefield 1 takes place during World War 1 and really captures a lot of the aspects that were around during that time period.

This game is a refreshment when you’re playing it; it is like taking a breath of fresh air, unlike other recent games that the Call of Duty series or the Halo series have made that take place in the distant future. Many people do not enjoy these games that take place in the future, including myself. Battlefield 1 is a game that brings change and fresh gameplay to all gamers.

Battlefield 1 is boots-on-the-ground gameplay with old, authentic guns used in WW1 as well as vehicles and planes that were used in that time era. The game is not a completely authentic experience of WW1 because of the little changes, but it captures the WW1 experience while making the game extremely enjoyable. Battlefield 1 captures huge aspects of WW1 like trench warfare, tank battles, mustard gas, airplanes, and mechanized warfare.

The Campaign Mode will keep you playing and the storyline will capture you. You won’t be able to stop playing. It is a unique storyline that you will want to play many times because of the quality of it.

The Battlefield Multiplayer Mode is also great: this is what many people will be playing after the Campaign is finished and will be playing for years to come. It can be played in any way you want, whatever suits your play style, and you are able to play it at whatever pace you want to because each play style has its advantages in this game.The Battlefield multiplayer is not repetitive at all unlike other FPS games. The maps are immersive and are controlled by the players because destruction is on and the players shape the map during gameplay so each game never plays out the same. Battlefield 1 multiplayer is something that you won’t get tired of and will most likely play for many years to come because of the great quality of the game.

Overall, I believe that Battlefield 1 is one of the greatest games to come out this year and I recommend it to you if you are into FPS games and are looking for a game that will give you a unique experience while giving you the fun that you were looking for.
