Another British Invasion is what some people are calling it; first it was Adele and now it is One Direction, a boy band consisting of Zayn Malik, Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Niall Horan, and Louis Tomlinson that became famous on the UK’s “X Factor” in 2010. They were put together as a group by Simon Cowell and came in third place in the competition. They recently released their album “Up All Night” on March 13 which includes “What Makes You Beautiful” and “One Thing”.

“What Makes You Beautiful” is so good it was even used in our very own promotional video. The song is very upbeat and makes everyone feel beautiful with its lyrics. The album has upbeat songs that make you justwant to dance – “Up All Night,” “Everything About You,” and “Stole My Heart” are just a few to mention. The album also has slow songs like “More Than This”and “Taken.” Overall, One Direction has a song on the album for just about everyone.

Every day it seems like more and more girls are getting the One Direction “infection” – but who wouldn’t with Zayn’s mysterious ways, Harry’s flirty attitude, Liam’s sensibility, Niall’s cute Irish accent, and Louis’s spontaneous personality. These boys are very dedicated not only to their music but also to their fans. Keeping their fans updated on Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube, they have given their fans a closer look on the new journey they are experiencing in life.

With their tour in North America already occurring, fans are preparing for six concerts alone here in California. Their concerts have been known to sell out in less than 60 seconds. One Direction is becoming more and more famous by the day and some people are even comparing them to The Beatles. However, it is hard to tell how successful they will eventually become, for this is just the beginning for One Direction.
