A new member to the West Covina restaurants, a new taste of food, and new types of food. Does is it live up to its full potential?
Yes, it does. El Pescador has a variety amount of food, good service, not to mention, complimentary chips with salsa and the waiting time isn’t nearly as bad as other restaurants. El Pescador has been around for nearly 30 years, and it has finally come to West Covina.
Starting off with the variety of different foods, such as breakfast, lunch, dinner and seafood, Mexican and American dishes, El Pescador is mostly known for its lunch and dinner plates, but the breakfast won’t let you down either. The moment your dish arrives at your table, the steamy rich food underneath your mouth–the fresh, warm, mouth-watering, goodness–the second you put it in your mouth, you won’t be able to stop eating it.
Next is the service, the service is decent, pretty predictable because that is what you receive from a new restaurant. It does take a couple years to master, though. For it being fairly new, it does meet its expectations; they try their very best and it wouldn’t hurt leaving a tip.
The waiting time is very reasonable. They have tables inside the restaurant large enough for big and small parties. There are tables outside, and don’t worry, for the cold weather there are heaters near the tables. El Pescador even does catering, and it has a 21 and over bar near the entrance.
Overall, this new Mexican grill restaurant down the block from the mall is fairly new, but very good. The is service great, the food being clean and tasty, and the overall experience is just great.
