Afters has been around for quite some time now; however, one recently opened up in Rowland Heights, which is closer than the other ones. Many people have heard of this place, thanks to all the social media posts that get around and keep wondering where to find the place that everyone is raving about.

Afters is popular for their many handcrafted ice cream flavors. Their flavors are uniquely crafted to make your mouth water and keep you wanting to come back for more.

The price varies depending on how many scoops you want on your ice cream cone. For one scoop, it is $4.00, two scoops is $6.00 and three scoops is $7.00. A milky bun, which consists of a donut, a scoop of ice cream, and one topping, costs $6.00.

While at Afters, the environment was very friendly and very modernized. The place is kind of small, but gives an overall good vibe. Since they barely opened, they don’t have any sitting area available, which is very inconvenient; however, hopefully in the future , they will incorporate an area where people can sit and enjoy each others’ company.

After you receive your ice cream, they have a selfie wall where you can take pictures of yourself or of the ice cream itself.

Since this was my first time going to Afters, I asked if I could try various flavors, which included Cookie Monster, Vietnamese Coffee, and Acai Blueberry. All of them were delicious and different from any other ice cream flavors I have ever tried. I ended up getting the Milky Bun with the Vietnamese Coffee flavor and crushed Oreo pieces to make the whole dessert come together.

Afters is different from any other ice cream shop open, which is what is making it very popular amongst teenagers and adults. It is highly recommended for anyone interested in satisfying their sweet tooth.
