Before winter break, a soup competition took place between the office staff. Registrar Maria Barrera tasted all the soups.
“I liked the Zuppa Toscana soup, but the one soup I liked the most was the Bacon Cheddar Chowder. It deserved first place,” said Barrera.
The final results for first place ended in a tie between librarian Fran Karmann with her Bacon Cheddar Chowder and assistant principal Daniel Gumarang with his Sinigang. Counselor Maria Nash finished in second place with her Chicken Avocado Lime. Lastly, Amy Heilman finished in third with her Creamy Tortellini.
