There are so many fun activities to do this upcoming winter break. The LA Zoo Lights should definitely be on your to do list this christmas season.
The spectacular lights are the main attraction. There are lights displayed throughout the zoo which illuminate the walkways. There are also lights in the plants all around the zoo, inside the roses and wrapped around long plants.
Also, there are bright signs that show off the christmas season, they say Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, and Happy Holidays.
Twinkle Tunnels are also shown, it is a lovely walkway where you enjoy the garden view and walk below beautiful bright lights.
As you walk through the park the music varies which creates an enchanting theme.
Although most of the animals are sleeping by the time the LA Zoo lights officially start, there are areas still open to the public that show great animal life.
The Luminous Lair shows pythons, snakes, fish, and other amphibians, invertebrates, and reptiles.
Close to the entrance of the zoo, there are reindeer to spread the Christmas season.
The kids seem fascinated by the reindeer and soon ask for Santa, which they can find deeper into the zoo park. There are photos with Santa which are very popular during this time.
People of all ages enjoy the carousel, which is on during the LA Zoo Light and the regular zoo admission.
By the carousel there is a small tree display where many people enjoyed taking pictures. A small place located by the carousel and tree where birthday parties are held is also in the park.
Throughout the park there are a lot of food stands, however, the main food attraction are the crunchy churros and the warm hot chocolate.
