For the first time ever, both the teachers and staff had an exclusive spirit day.  

On Tuesday September 29, the staff decided to surprise the students by dressing up as people from the ‘90s.  The surprise was planned by English teacher Andrea Poma.  

“It was just to have a little bit of fun and raise the morale,” Poma said.

According to Poma, the staff decided to keep it from the students until that day because they wanted to have something for themselves and see if the students would notice.  Students were probably wondering why the theme was the ‘90s.

“It was an iconic decade,” Poma said.

The special surprise was teacher staff exclusive because they wanted to try something new. The students have spirit days all the time.  It’s time for the teachers to have their own.

For such a weird occasion, many students question when the next spirit day would be. The teachers decided that if they told us it wouldn’t remain a secret.
