It almost seems as if freshman Louie Velasquez is becoming more known as the days go by. On the well-known social media app Instagram, Velasquez has a little over three thousand people following him. That’s more than enough people liking and commenting on the pictures he posts daily.

Velasquez started off early and had many people follow him on Instagram as the years went by.

“It was summer of fifth grade when I first made my Instagram,” Velasquez said.

Since then, others have admired the fact that his posts are very aesthetic and enjoy seeing them. Many others may wonder why so many people are very interested with his feed and Velasquez himself. To him, Velasquez thinks of it as just a regular thing, nothing too special.

“I’m just really active and post daily. I post the kind of pictures people can relate to,” Velasquez said.

Others see Velasquez as someone who is very popular and well-known for being a freshman. They think he is different from everyone else because of his popularity on social media. 

“It’s cool because I see it as people liking the same things I do,” Velasquez said.

Not only is Velasquez “Instagram famous” but everyone also talks and knows him around school too. Velasquez is the Class of 2019 Vice President. It would almost be impossible not to know who he is with so many things to recognize him by.

You would think the amount of followers you have would somewhat affect your reputation a little. But according to Velasquez, it doesn’t.

“It doesn’t affect me at all, I just enjoy taking pictures of things I desire,” Velasquez said.

If you don’t already know who people are talking about when they say his name, you are sure to know Louie Velasquez by the end of the year.
