One of the many new additions Bulldog Country has this year is the new health teacher Brittany Levenson. Although it is her first year as a full time teacher, she used to be a half-time substitute.
She attended college at Long Beach State University, where her mind was set on being a doctor to take care of the sick. As soon as she took health classes though, she wanted to help prevent people from making unhealthy life choices. She then earned a degree in health science.
She is really excited to be teaching health full time because many schools do not require health as a high school requirement to graduate.
“I like the school spirit, support of staff, and good vibe of the school.” said Levenson.
During her free time, she likes traveling, camping, hiking, snowboarding, and sleeping.
