Avengers Age of Ultron, is being talked about everywhere you go and it should, considering that its first week it went straight to the top of box offices with a whopping 191.3 million. It’s slightly under Avengers Disney’s 2012 film which made 201.4 million its opening weekend. Nonetheless, Age of Ultron was a Sci-Fi, action-packed thriller with a hint of a romantic comedy.
After Shield has fallen, Tony Stark decides to make a peace corps program with artificial intelligence he calls “Ultron,” and it doesn’t work out so good for the Avengers.
In the film you will see the likes of returning actors such as Robert Downey Jr.(Iron Man), Mark Ruffalo(The Hulk), Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow), Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Jeremy Renner (Hawkeye), and of course Chris Evans (Captain America). Two new Avengers are also added, which to me was confusing at first. The two new heroes are Quicksilver played by Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Scarlet Witch played by Elizabeth Olsen, which have also been seen in Marvel’s X-men Days of Future Past.
Disney came to an agreement with 20th Century Fox to use the characters that couldn’t just be called mutants, so in Age of Ultron they are considered genetically enhanced experiments created by ex-Shield agent Striker.
Age of Ultron will show you a surprising love interest between Black Widow and The Hulk, which really helped me understand the and their relationship story better. It has slight story line changes, but ultimately enjoyable.
The movie has gotten some great reviews so far with IMDb giving it 8/10 stars, and Rotten Tomatoes giving a 75% critic score and an 89% consumer score. I would give this movie a 9/10.
If you get the chance, I suggest making your way to the closest theater and catch Marvel’s “Avengers: Avengers Age of Ultron.”
