Do you love acrylic nails? Do you want to be a cosmetologist? A nail artist? If so, Nail’d It is the perfect show for you. It comes on the Oxygen channel every Tuesday at 9 p.m. The show, hosted by Adrienne Bailon, where three nail artists compete in two competitions for a chance to win $100,000. The person who wins the second contest (elimination round) wins $10,000 and competes against the winners from the other episodes to get the $100,000 grand prize.

They will also have their nail art on the cover of the Nail It magazine. Each competition has a special guest or guests who will be the inspiration of the nails that they design.

The first half of the competition is called the Quick Dry Challenge. Depending on the guests or items, the competitors will have to design nails that represent that thing with certain restrictions like length, 3D designs, no free hand art, etc. They will have an hour to do so.

Whoever wins the first challenge will have an advantage to the elimination round. In episode 6, the winner of the 1st round got to throw away one nail of their choice from both of the other competitors. That was her advantage.

I enjoy watching this show because it gives me an idea of how elegant, exotic, and creative my nails could look. It also gave me nail knowledge. I didn’t know you could design acrylic nails in so many ways. It could take up to five hours to do a full set of nails, that was something else I didn’t know.

This show shows me how passionate nail artists are about their work. Don’t think that this show is just for girls. It is for both males and females. There has been a few men competing in the show. If you want to show off your nail art, you can post your nail pictures on Instagram or Twitter using the hash tag “#ShowMeTheMani” or you can submit it on their page on the Oxygen website. If your art is favorited, then it will be featured during the show.
