Welcome to the battlefield, where all the troops here are summoned by your command! With the touch of the screen, you can spawn soldiers to fight and destroy your enemies in a false swoop. That’s if you have what it takes.

Playing Clash of Clans for the first time was pretty excruciating. Having to constantly build up resources to upgrade all my buildings which took days, felt like years. I eventually quit the game after a month of playing, but a year later, publicity to the game kept my ears open and my eyes back on my phone to the app, and boy am I happy I came back!

Clash of Clans is a combat, strategy app where you simply build your own village to strike down other enemy villages. You must also be careful, for other villages can have a chance to attack you! However, having a shield will protect against any attacks for a limited amount of time.

Having resources is important to keeping your village in good condition. Resources are used to upgrade buildings, defenses, or just getting rid of wildlife on your plot.

Defensive tactics rely on multiple defenses, including cannons, archer towers, traps, and many more. These objects can be upgraded to deal more damage to enemy troops, but cost resources and time which can take days!

Going offensive is probably more exciting than sitting around, waiting to be attacked. Barracks are the source of attacking another village. With them, you are able to spawn multiple types of troops, such as barbarians, archers, wizards, and many more. Each troops has its unique ability to destroy and help you ascend to victory. With each attack, victory gains trophies. The more trophies you have, the higher rank you are.
