Everyone loves a good road trip with their friends, especially during Spring Break! Here’s a couple of ideas for your own trip!
Lake Havasu
If you’re one who loves the water and loves to swim Lake Havasu is the perfect place to spend your Spring Break. Lake Havasu is a part of the Colorado River, it’s a very populated spot so if you love meeting and hanging out with new people you’ll be sure to make some friends there. Even better, it’s only four hours away! So pack your bathing suit or swim trunks and head out to the lake! Once you get there you’ll never want to leave!
San Francisco
If you’re not ready to break out the swimsuits yet, try road tripping to San Francisco! It’s about a five hour drive but with friends you won’t even notice, and there’s lots of pit stops along the way. San Fran is a great place to tour with a group of friends, you can cruise around the town, go to Pier 39 and check out all the entertainment and if you’re up to spending money I suggest taking a visit to the infamous old prison, Alcatraz. The activities available in San Francisco are endless!
Yosemite
If you’re the outdoorsy type try camping in a new place! Yosemite is known for it’s beautiful forest and all the fun, adventurous activities. If you’re up for hiking, biking, zip lining, horseback riding, rock climbing, kayaking, or rafting Yosemite is definitely the place for you this Spring Break. Only five hours away for a bunch of activities that you wouldn’t get to do in the city? Sounds great to me!
Palm Springs
The closest getaway road trip, only an hour and a half outside of Los Angeles, and so peaceful! If you’re interested in hiking or just simple relaxing, Palm Springs is a great place to visit. You can go check out Knott’s Soak City, Palm Springs’ water park, ride the tram to the top of the mountains, or check out their variety of art museums! Palm Springs is the perfect place to go to just get out of the hectic city life and just take some time for yourself or enjoy some time with your friends.
San Diego
If the beach area is calling your name take a road trip down to San Diego, it’s only 2 hours outside of town! If you decide to make the trip check out the San Diego Zoo, Seaworld or if you want to save money just visit the beaches down there and take a bike ride along the pier. San Diego is a great place to road trip with your friends or family.
