A closer look on Battle of the Bands contestant, Vixen Vendetta.

Every year West Covina High School’s Renaissance team presents “Battle of the Bands.” This event produces a contest between 10 bands to win the title of being the band of the year and being able to return the following year as a guest band. This year’s guest band is Victorian Sky as well as two other special guests, an acoustic performance, as well as many of West Covina High School’s home grown bands. In order for the bands to have been eligible to compete, all they had to do was sign up. On March 14 through all the contestants, one band or solo artist will win label of being the victor.

Here are things you should know about the event. It starts at 7 but come early for the chance of better seats. The pre-sale is $5 while at the door it’s $8 unless you have a renaissance card, then you get a dollar discount. Make sure you mark your calender, because this show will give you a taste of a raw passion that you will only get at a homegrown neighboring band.
