It’s almost Christmas and what’s a more jolly way to spend time with family and friends than sitting by the fireplace, enjoying these cranberry brownies?
What You Will Need:
BARS
1) 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted (1 stick)
2) 1 eggs
3) 1 cup brown sugar
4) 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
5) 1 cup all-purpose flour
6) 1/4 teaspoon salt, optional and to taste
7) 1 cup white chocolate chips
8) 1/2 cup dried cranberries, loosely packed
FROSTING & TOPPING
1) 1 cup white chocolate chips, melted and divided
2) 8 ounces room temperature cream cheese make sure it’s softened
3) 3/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
4) 1 1/2 cups powder sugar
5) 1/4 cup dried cranberries
How To:
Batter – Add the melted butter, brown sugar, flour, 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla, and mix. With a wooden spatula, fold in the dried cranberries and white chocolate chips. Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit. It should take 18-20 minutes.
Frosting -Mix together 3/4 of the melted white chocolate, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and cream cheese
Once the blond brownies have cooled down, spread a generous amount of frosting, sprinkle over cranberries and drizzle the remaining melted chocolate.
I would recommend putting the brownies in the fridge overnight, so it can set up better, making it incredibly easier to cut.
