Last year our long-time rivals, the South Hills Huskies, took the victory and became the Kings of Cameron, but we want our title back. This year, the Bulldogs have come to win.

To increase the stakes, there will be a trophy and ceremony following the football game September 12. This game is so different from the others because we are facing South Hills, from just on the other side of Cameron.

Cameron is ours. It isn’t just a street to us, it’s our home.

Bulldog Country hosted a spirit week in honor of the Kings and Queens of Cameron football and volleyball games. Monday was Band Tee Day to honor our kings and queens of performing arts. Tuesday we celebrated Sports Apparel Day to honor all of our kings and queens of athletics. Wednesday Bulldog Country had Nerd Day to honor all the academic success here at West Covina.

Thursday night, Bulldog Country will be hosting their first ever night rally to pump everyone up for the game.

On Friday, the day of the game, we celebrate Maroon and Gold Day. There will be a traditional lunch rally on the circle stage. Varsity Football will take turns hitting the Husky piñata.

As of Thursday, both JV and Varsity Girls’ Volleyball won half of our title against South Hills. We’re the Queens of Cameron, but all we need now is our kings of football to bring that trophy home.

Let’s go Bulldogs! Show your pride and root on our Kings and Queens of Cameron.
